Forget about that Xacto blade skipping as you try to make a starting divot. This little 1mm bur is just the ticket to get that drill started just where you want it. Just aim and press, and give a couple turns back and forth. It has some other good uses too, like deepening panel lines, or anything else where a sharp point is required.
