1/24 Volkswagen Type 2 Pic-Up Truck "1967" HC11
In February 1950, Volkswagen Chief Executive Officer
Heinrich Nordhoff at the time
introduced a convenient transporter called the Type 2.
The Type 2 is a combination of the Beetle's suspension and a box-shaped body, making
it the second best-selling model after the Beetle.
Type 2 started from a commercial vehicle called a delivery van in March 1950, and
we will continue to add various variation models after that.
The type of pickup with the back of the driver's seat as the
loading platform features a raised floor and a fully flat loading
platform, and there is a locker with a floor area of about 2 square meters under the loading platform, which has been used
as a convenient storage space.
Made between 1950 and 1966, the original Type 2 is still a popular model , with its
two separate front windows and
abundant body variations .
